{"id":41,"date":"2008-02-02T16:15:25","date_gmt":"2008-02-02T22:15:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.brickhouseracing.com\/archives\/41"},"modified":"2008-02-02T16:15:25","modified_gmt":"2008-02-02T22:15:25","slug":"cf-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.brickhouseracing.com\/?p=41","title":{"rendered":"CF Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"para\"><span id=\"dpid\">Yesterday, I scaled back the Crossfit posted workout of the day to this:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3 Rounds, 10 reps each of:<br \/>\nDeadlifts (70kg)<br \/>\nDips<br \/>\nPullups<br \/>\nThrusters (20# DB)<\/p>\n<p>I was cursing by the end of the workout as usual, but I like them in a masochistic sort of way :)\u00c3\u201a  The only issue I foresee as causing a problem with these workouts is my low blood pressure.\u00c3\u201a  Normally, resistance training will cause an acute spike in BP (totally normal during a set). It&#8217;s also normal to go a little below your typical BP immediately following a spike. That&#8217;s where I get in trouble- my normal is already pretty low, so those drops result in dizziness, lightheadedness, blackouts in my field of vision, and nausea.
