I had no idea you had lived in NY. I lived in Northern New Jersey then.
I actually lived in Memphis- he and I rented a car, pack up the dogs, and drove overnight to get there!
Thank you for doing that! it was a shattering time, I was lucky not to have been on the island when it happened but was affected in many ways nonetheless. its good to remember how people showed so much decency and genuine human caring in the aftermath.
