That Ibex wool stuff is on my top 10 list of favorite things in the world?
During my usual 3 hour Wednesday ride, it was a misty start, a dreary middle, and the final hour was in the rain. Temps hovered in the high 50s, but I didn’t really feel too cold because I was nearly head to toe in wool- socks, knee warmers, shorts, base layer, and arm warmers. My toes were not too happy, but otherwise, I was comfortable.
Need. More.
the ibex stuff is way good. big fan of the mid weight, short sleeve, full zip and arm warmers. i could get away with that combo for most of the year. in the summer just ditch the arm warmers and unzip. i just picked up some of their glove liners which make great light weight gloves. tried some of the ibex bib shorts last week and those are on my hot list as well. funny, i was thinking of making a similar post after tonight’s rainy commute, but laughed at myself when I imagined the heckling I would receive as I have always been an anti-gear guy. I seriously geek out on the this stuff tho.
